  friday am during keynote address "the wonders of creation reveal god's glory" 32 minute dvd on creation available at the convention.

  friday last talk "sing to jehovah" - new songbook with 135 songs, 42 which are new.

  will start using in january 2010. cong will begin receiving them after september 1st.

  My first turn:

  Why did Jehovah create dinosaurs?

  Jehovah is a god of love right? Under his rule there will be no wars and even lions will be good friends with lambs .... and there will be just peace and nobody will hurt anyone ... even animals will not hurt other animals...

  So why he created huge variety of giant and extremely violant beast like all the dinosaurs? Most of them were equiped with big strong teeth and bodies enabling them succesfully fight other animals...

  And they dominated the earth for some 170 mio years ...

  Why was it? What JWs might answer?

  i pioneered and was a missionary for 20 years.. i brought 1 person in.. he is still a witness i hear, i haven't been able to find him though.. and you?.

  i lived for the first 20 years of my life in a communist country.. .

  great .... .

  we were told we lived in the best regime, had best medical care, best election system, best goverment, no criminality like in the western countries, no unemploymence like in the western countries, not all the problems like people in the west ..... .

  so i sifted through some of it.

  actually i'm shocked it's not as bad (if they just practiced what was in here) as i thought but ran across a couple different days like this one.

  Important note to our beloved JWN sisters -

  While posting, you have to wear the head covering.

  By doing so, you will show your humble and deep devotion to JWN administrators.

  However it is a matter of your conscience, if you wear head covering while just reading posts of other posters. Although it is a matter of conscience one faithful sister stated: "I feel obliged to wear proper head covering anytime I aproach my computer". Would it not be nice to follow an exmaple of this examplary faithfull sister?

  An elder I know was accepted to be an International Delegate -$9,000 for 2 people!

  he is an elder, and he and his wife were "accepted" to go to south africa.

  including airfare, hotel, food, general tours, it comes to $9,000.. have any of you experienced this or seen this before?

  i was out of the country for some years, so i haven't kept up with prices of being a delegate.. so, if they were to go without the "international delegate" designation, would it still be $9000?.

  Is it possible that the WT Society is also getting some money out of this arrangement? Bona Fide I dont know, you have to ask Ted Jaracz :-)

  some time ago, i read on the internet, that in late 70s there was a gb member (his name should be leo greenslee) who was accused of molestation of a little boy - son of a witness family.

  after this was revealed, he was supposed to be removed from bethel to serve as a special pioneer out of new york and have died in 80s.. have you heard about it?.

  Some time ago, I read on the internet, that in late 70s there was a GB member (his name should be Leo Greenslee) who was accused of molestation of a little boy - son of a witness family. After this was revealed, he was supposed to be removed from Bethel to serve as a special pioneer out of New York and have died in 80s.

  Have you heard about it?
